Lyocell bamboo - the most environmentally friendly method

The Lyocell method is among the most environmentally friendly methods of producing bamboo viscose. Bamboo textiles produced according to the Lyocell method are manufactured in a closed loop, where 99.7% of all waste products from production are recycled. However, although bamboo is grown 100% organically and is an organic product, a chemical treatment is required to break down and convert bamboo fibers into textiles.

This award-winning production is sustainable and much less energy-intensive than the traditional production method. The bamboo is dissolved in non-toxic organic solvents. Unfortunately, the organic solvent cannot be called organic, but a better alternative has not yet been found. On the other hand, only 100% organic bamboo is used, which grows completely without the use of pesticides, artificial fertilizers and artificial irrigation.

Wash the bedding at a low temperature.

Bamboo is best washed at the lowest temperature , as it extends its durability and allows you to enjoy your bedding for longer. Thanks to the natural antibacterial properties and many properties of bamboo, which reduce bacteria and dust mites in the fabric, it is not necessary to wash the products at 60 degrees, as with cotton, for example. In fact, you should avoid it if you want to optimize the lifespan and quality. Therefore, wash your bamboo bedding at 30-40 degrees in the washing machine, and it will last for many years.
