Wash & Care
Here you will find the best advice and instructions for washing and maintaining your bamboo clothing:

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
It is best to wash your bamboo clothes at 30 degrees, together with similar colors. It is recommended to use detergent without strong enzymes, e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably perfume-free.
Underpants and panties can be washed at up to 60 degrees if you feel comfortable with that. However, you should be aware that higher temperatures reduce the lifespan of the clothing.
When washing your bras, we recommend removing any inserts from the bras and washing the bras in a laundry bag. The inserts cannot be washed in the washing machine, so we recommend washing them by hand and avoiding twisting or folding them.
Do not use chlorine or bleach on white clothes as it damages the fibres. Avoid tumble drying and avoid hanging clothes to dry in the sun. If you need to tumble dry, the most gentle programme is recommended, preferably with cold air.
Your bamboo clothing cannot be ironed and it is not necessary as it does not wrinkle because the fibers remain soft and supple wash after wash. With the exception of shirts, which we recommend ironing at a low temperature.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR SOCKS
Bamboo is a porous fiber and therefore the socks wear out more easily. Normally, a pair of socks should be able to stay hole-free for at least 4 months*.
Thinning of socks is not a hole, but refers to a condition where socks become thinner and less durable over time. This is due to repeated use and washing. Why can socks get holes “prematurely”?
This is often due to hard skin that wears down the fabric and quickly makes holes. Too small shoes, where the toes wear unnecessarily against the toe of the shoe and make holes in the outside of the sock. Too large shoes, where the sock “skates” around and can flap in the heel, causing extra wear on the heel. Freshly cut nails can also cut the sock open like a sharp knife. Therefore, use a nail file.
*It is assumed that you have between 10-14 pairs of socks that you
alternates between.

HOW TO WASH HOME ACCESSORIES
TOWELS
We recommend that you soak your new towels in cold water for 12 hours before washing them for the first time. This strengthens the absorbency of the cotton fibers and removes excess dye. We also recommend that you wash the towels with similar colors for the first wash to avoid discoloration.
BEDDING
We recommend that you wash your bamboo bedding inside out at 30 degrees and hang it to dry in the shade. Due to the absorbent properties of the bamboo fibers, the bedding dries quickly. If you wash it in the morning, you can use it again in the evening.
Tip! Close the zipper when washing to take good care of it. Leave it open about 10-15 cm, so it is easy to open it all the way back up. Also take extra care of your clothes by filling the washing machine well so that the clothes are not thrown around too much in the drum.
