Bamboo tights for women

Bamboo tights for women are a good choice if you want tights that feel soft and do not itch. Here you will find seven styles from Decoy and JBS of Denmark in black, navy, brown and green. All of them are opaque, so your legs are not semi sheer, and they are made from bamboo viscose, which makes them more breathable than tights in pure nylon. They suit everyday wear, the office and your favourite dress when the weather turns cold.

The difference between 90, 130 and 200 denier

Denier tells you how densely the tights are knitted. The higher the number, the more opaque and substantial they feel. JBS of Denmark makes tights in 90 denier, where the leg is fully covered but the fabric is still fairly light. Decoy has coloured tights in 130 denier with a smooth surface, and its black style is 200 denier, the densest in the range. Choose 90 denier for an ordinary working day and 130 or 200 denier when it is cold, or when you want a denser, matte finish.

Colours that suit your wardrobe

Black gives the best coverage and goes with almost everything. Navy is a good alternative if you wear a lot of blue and grey, because the transition is softer than with black. Brown bamboo tights go with beige, sand and camel, where black can look too sharp. Green from Decoy is for you if you want a little colour on your legs, for example with a plain dress or a dark skirt. Sizes and fit

Sizes vary from brand to brand. JBS of Denmark comes in S/M, M/L, XL and XXL. Decoy's coloured tights come in 36 to 38, 40 to 42, 42 to 44, 46 to 50 and 52 to 56, while Decoy's black style runs from S/M to XXXL. The black style from Decoy has a high waist, and Decoy's tights have flat seams at the toes so they do not press in your shoes. If you are between two sizes, the larger one is often the most comfortable, so the tights do not dig in at the waist.

Why choose bamboo over nylon and cotton

Many people look for cotton tights because they want to get away from the feel of pure nylon. Bamboo viscose gives a similar soft feel against the skin and breathes better than nylon.
