Bamboo split sheets for adjustable beds
A bamboo split sheet is a fitted sheet with a slit, so it can follow an adjustable bed where the head and foot sections are raised separately. Why an ordinary sheet is not enough
On an adjustable bed the mattress moves. When the head section is lifted, the mattress is pulled in a different direction from the rest of the bed, and an ordinary sheet will either pull tight or slip off the corners. U80 or H60
The two split sheets in this collection are called U80 and H60, and the difference lies in how the split is made. This is the part to pay most attention to when you order. Look at your bed and your mattress and find out where the split sits and how long it is before you choose. If the split does not match the bed, the sheet will not fit as it should, however good the quality is. If you are unsure, measure the bed and compare it with the details on each product page.
Size: 180 x 200 x 20 cm
Both split sheets come in 180 x 200 cm with a depth of 20 cm. That fits a double adjustable bed of that width and length. If you are looking for a split sheet in 180 x 210 cm, it is not available in this collection right now, so measure your mattress before you order. The 20 cm depth and the elastic all the way round let the sheet tuck well under the edge of the mattress and stay in place. Check the total height if you have a mattress topper on top.
Bamboo lyocell in the sheet
The sheets are made from 100% bamboo lyocell, the same material Nordic Weaving uses in its bedding and pillowcases. Lyocell is a way of turning bamboo into fibre, and the fabric is smooth and even against the skin. It is what you lie directly on all night, so it matters that the fabric feels good.
