WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Three pairs of black underpants from JBS

JBS is the brand most Danish men know from the underwear drawer, and this is the classic in bamboo instead of pure cotton. Three black pairs in the pack, in six sizes from S to XXXL, so the broader build is covered too.

What bamboo changes

The composition is 65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. You get the same firmness and fit you already know, but the fabric draws moisture away instead of holding on to it. The difference shows most clearly at the end of a long day. The background is in our facts about bamboo.

Certified all the way

OEKO-TEX Standard 100 under certificate no. 976-15301, and the bamboo is FSC MIX certified, that is from responsibly managed forests. Tested free of harmful chemicals.

Washing

40 degrees together with the dark laundry, and skip the fabric softener, which settles in the fibres and ruins the breathability. See the washing and care guide.
