WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Five pairs of white low cut socks

Low cut means the shaft stops just below the ankle. The sock is not visible in low shoes and trainers, but it is high enough that it does not slip down under the heel the way footies tend to. Five pairs in the pack, all white, and they come in 30/33, 34/39, 40/44 and 45/49.

No tight elastic

The shaft finishes softly around the ankle without pinching. That makes the model well suited for diabetics and anyone else who cannot cope with a tight edge around the leg, where marks from elastic can become a problem.

75 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 75% bamboo viscose, 23% polyester and 2% elastane. The bamboo viscose draws the moisture away from the foot, the polyester sits where socks wear out first, that is the heel and toe. We explain the material in our facts about bamboo.

White socks call for a routine

Wash them together with the rest of the whites at 40 degrees and leave out fabric softener. White bamboo fabric can take chlorine free bleach, but not high heat. See our washing and care guide. OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. BJ020 142441.
