WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Five pairs of white bamboo socks

There are two reasons to choose white socks: they go with light shoes and sportswear, and you can see whether they are clean. Five pairs in the pack, all identical, so you neither have to pair them up nor worry about losing a single one. Available in 34/39, 40/44 and 45/49.

The material

75% bamboo viscose, 23% polyester and 2% elastane. The bamboo moves moisture away from the foot, which keeps both odour and the feeling of damp down. The polyester gives durability at the heel and toe, and the elastane keeps the sock in place. The background to the material is in our facts about bamboo.

White asks a little more

Wash them together with other whites and skip the fabric softener. Bamboo does not tolerate high heat well, so stay at 40 degrees. If they need a lift, a bleach without chlorine works better than turning up the temperature. See the washing and care guide.
