How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Two black boxer shorts with a wide logo waistband

The waistband is four centimetres wide with a printed logo. It is not just decoration: a wide waistband spreads the pressure over a larger area and therefore does not roll up into a cord over the course of the day, the way a narrow elastic does. Two black pairs from Bamboo Basics, sizes from S to XXL.

Bamboo and cotton jersey

The fabric is 68 % bamboo viscose, 28 % organic cotton and 4 % elastane, knitted as jersey. The bamboo viscose is the soft, moisture wicking part, the organic cotton gives the fabric the body it needs so the boxer shorts keep their shape on the thigh. Wash the logo with care
