WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Loose fit

Kay is the loose model, where the leg hangs free instead of sitting close around the thigh. It is the model you choose if you do not care for fabric that tightens around the leg.

The waistband makes the difference

The waistband is four centimetres wide with a printed logo. A wide waistband spreads the pressure over a larger area and therefore does not roll up into a cord during the day, the way a narrow elastic can.

Bamboo and cotton jersey

The fabric is 68 % bamboo viscose, 28 % organic cotton and 4 % elastane knitted as jersey. The bamboo viscose is the soft and moisture wicking part, the organic cotton gives the fabric the body it needs. More in our facts about bamboo.

Wash the logo with care
