WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Why it works as a base layer

A base layer has to move moisture away from your skin, otherwise you get cold when you stand still. Bamboo viscose absorbs more moisture than cotton and evaporates it out into the fabric, and that property is exactly what makes the difference between a skiing holiday and a cold afternoon. 68 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 68 % bamboo viscose, 28 % organic cotton and 4 % elastane. Bamboo viscose is at the same time gentle on allergies and smooth against your skin, which matters when the top sits directly on you for many hours.
