WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Black t-shirt with a round neck from Resteröds

A black t-shirt is the one you buy most of, and that is also why it is the first to turn grey or lose its shape. Resteröds makes it in a quality that lasts longer than most, with Swedish craftsmanship since 1935 behind it. Sizes S to XXL.

The material

65 % bamboo viscose, 30 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose gives the t-shirt a softer and heavier drape than pure cotton, so it hangs neatly instead of standing out. It breathes better, which you notice both under a shirt and on a warm day. Read more in our facts about bamboo.

How to keep it black

Wash at 40 degrees together with the rest of the dark laundry, turn it inside out, and leave out the fabric softener. Air drying in the shade rather than a tumble dryer. The details are in the washing and care guide.
