WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Seven pairs of white ankle socks from JBS of Denmark

Seven pairs equals a week, and that is the whole idea behind the pack. Every pair is white and identical, so nothing has to be paired up after the wash. The ankle height means the sock covers the ankle without showing above the edge of a low shoe. The sizes are 37/40, 41/44 and 45/48.

Flat seams over the toes

The seam across the toes is flat instead of standing up as a ridge. That is the detail you notice most inside a shoe, and one of the few things that really separates a good sock from a cheap one.

75 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 75% bamboo viscose, 23% polyamide and 2% elastane, and the bamboo is FSC MIX certified. The bamboo viscose wicks sweat and breathes, which is why feet stay fresh even on long, warm days. See our facts about bamboo and our FSC page.

White socks are washed separately

40 degrees together with the rest of your whites, without fabric softener. The socks are made in Lithuania and tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. 976-15301. See our washing and care guide.
