WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Grey towel in bamboo lyocell

This towel is made from bamboo lyocell rather than bamboo viscose. Lyocell is produced in a closed loop where the solvent is reused, and the fibre ends up stronger than viscose at the same time. That is why a towel, which has to withstand being wrung out and washed often, makes sense in exactly this quality.

Soft surface, hard wearing base

The fabric is 70 % bamboo lyocell and 30 % organic cotton. The lyocell sits at the surface and provides the softness and the absorbency, the cotton makes up the hard wearing base. Two sizes

The towel comes in 50 x 90 cm and 70 x 140 cm, that is as a hand towel and as a bath towel. Made in Bangladesh and certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. 12 HBD. 10714. More about the label under what OEKO-TEX means.

Washing

Wash without fabric softener. Fabric softener settles like a film on the fibres and ruins precisely the absorbency a towel is bought for. See our washing and care guide.
