Home & homewear in bamboo

Bamboo home and homewear

Here we have gathered bamboo home and homewear: everything that belongs in the home, from bamboo bedding, sheets and pillowcases to towels, pyjama sets and lounge sets. The category holds 60 products from Nordic Weaving, Turiform, JBS of Denmark, CCDK, Boody and Bamboo Basics. Most of the range is textiles for the bedroom.

Bamboo bedding from Nordic Weaving and Turiform

Nordic Weaving makes bedding in 100% bamboo lyocell. The fabric is sateen woven and smooth against the skin, and the duvet cover closes with a zip and has ties in all four corners. The colours are calm, such as white, sand, light beige, taupe, plaza taupe, shitake, khaki, light grey, dark grey, light blue and lavender. The Norwegian brand Turiform has the Enjoy bedding in 100% sateen woven bamboo in old rose, blue, light blue, grey, champagne and white. The bedding comes in sizes 140 x 200, 140 x 220, 200 x 220 and 240 x 220 cm, depending on the style. See the full range of bamboo bedding.

Sheets and pillowcases

For the mattress, Nordic Weaving has three kinds of sheets in 100% bamboo lyocell. The fitted sheet has elastic all the way round and a 35 cm depth, so it also fits a mattress with a topper. The flat sheet has elastic so it stays in place and does not bunch up. The split sheet is made for adjustable beds, has a 20 cm depth and follows the movement of the bed. The sheets come in many widths from 90 to 210 cm. The pillowcases are also sateen woven, close with a zip at the end and come in 50 x 70, 50 x 90 and 60 x 63 cm. You will also find them under bamboo fitted sheets.

Towels

Nordic Weaving also has bamboo towels in grey, sand and olive. They have a soft surface with high absorbency and a hard wearing base. A bamboo towel goes well with the rest of the textiles if you want a calm and consistent look in the bathroom. See more under bamboo towels.

Homewear: pyjamas and lounge sets

Bamboo homewear is also about what you wear at home. Bamboo Basics has the Nina pyjama set with a long sleeved top and long trousers in navy and burgundy. CCDK has pyjama sets with a T-shirt and pyjama bottoms, a T-shirt and trousers, or a nightshirt and pyjama bottoms, as well as lounge sets in white and light blue stripes. JBS of Denmark has white striped pyjama sets with narrow or wide stripes, a black lounge set with a tank top and leggings, and men's sets in bamboo and linen with a shirt and trousers or shorts. Boody has lounge sets in black and pink. See also bamboo loungewear for women.

Materials and use all year round

The Nordic Weaving bedding, sheets and pillowcases are 100% bamboo lyocell, while the JBS of Denmark men's sets are a blend of bamboo and linen. The Turiform bedding is described as temperature regulating and moisture wicking, and many of the pyjama sets as soft and breathable. That makes bamboo homewear a natural choice all year, both when the bedroom is cool in winter and when the nights are warm in summer.
