Short answer: The range covers Danish, Swedish, Dutch and Australian brands plus the house's own. They differ mostly in cut and size line, and those are what you should compare before choosing. The fibre is the same across the bamboo series.

The brands in the range

The shop carries brands from several countries: Danish, Swedish, Dutch and Australian, and also the house's own. They resemble each other in material but not in cut and size line. A brand therefore cannot simply be swapped for another without checking the measurements first. Below is an overview of how they differ.

The Danish brands

JBS of Denmark and Egtved stand for classic Scandinavian cuts with fixed sizes. It is a good place to start if you know the Scandinavian size line and want a size to mean the same thing every time. See JBS of Denmark for the collection with items from that brand.

Fashion and a narrower cut

Lindbergh and CCDK sit closer to fashion, with a narrower cut. That means they fit closer to the body than the classic cuts. If you are between two sizes, it is worth measuring and comparing with the size chart on the product page instead of choosing by what you usually wear.

Boody from Australia

Boody comes from Australia and runs smaller than the other brands. The garments sit closest to the body in the whole range. If your size falls between two, check the measurements on the product page before choosing, and consider going up a size. See Boody for the whole collection.

Bamboo Basics from the Netherlands

Bamboo Basics comes from the Netherlands and follows European standard sizing. The brand is often sold in multipacks, where you get several pieces of the same model at once. Resteröds from Sweden

Resteröds comes from Sweden and is heavier and longer than the other brands. That applies to both the weight of the fabric and the length of the garments, and you notice it in daily wear. If you are looking for something that covers more and feels sturdier, it is a brand to look at more closely.

The house brand

Copenhagen Bamboo is the house brand and covers underwear, socks, basics and home textiles broadly. Because it is our own brand, there are fewer links between factory and shop. Is the fabric different

Weight and knit vary from brand to brand, and that is what you feel when you put the clothes on. The fibre is bamboo viscose in all the bamboo series, so the difference lies in how the fabric is built. Read the product description for material and weight if it matters how thick or thin the clothes feel.

How to choose
