Bamboo clothing and ironing and when it is necessary

Short answer: Bamboo viscose rarely needs ironing. If you hang the piece up while it is damp, the weight of the water smooths the creases out by itself.

Hang up damp

Take the clothing out of the machine straight away and hang it on a hanger while it is still damp. That is the whole method. See washing and care.

Low heat if you iron anyway

Viscose does not take high heat. Use the setting for synthetics or the lowest with steam, and iron from the reverse.

Steam rather than pressure

Steam smooths creases without you having to press hard. Hard pressure on viscose can leave shiny marks that do not go away.

The collar is the exception
