Black Undershirt – When Do Dark Base Layers Make Sense?

Short answer: A black vest is the right choice under dark clothes, where a white one would show through. Under pale and white shirts you should pick grey or skin tone instead. The rule is simple: the vest should sit as close to the colour of the outer layer as possible.

When do you choose black?

When is black the wrong choice?
