How to choose bamboo bedding
Short answer: Choose by three things: the size of your duvet and pillow, how cold you sleep, and whether you want it smooth or textured. The rest is colour.
Measurements first
The Danish standard duvet cover is 140 by 200 centimetres, but 135 by 200 and 150 by 210 also exist. Measure your duvet before ordering, because a cover that is too big gives cold pockets.
The fabric and how you sleep
Bamboo viscose carries heat away from the skin and feels cool. If you sleep warm, that is an advantage. If you get cold, a more densely woven fabric can hold the warmth better. See bamboo bedding.
The closure and the details
Buttons hold up better than a zip over time, but a zip is faster. Also look for corner ties to keep the duvet in place. See bamboo sheets and bamboo pillowcases.
