The FSC labelled products in the shop

Short answer: FSC concerns the forest the raw material comes from. The label means the bamboo has been grown and harvested according to set requirements for management and oversight.

What the label covers

The raw material itself and the chain it passes through from forest to factory. Every link has to be certified so the origin of the material can be documented.

What it does not cover

It says nothing about which chemicals are in the finished fabric. That is a different kind of labelling, and the two complement each other. See FSC.

How to find the products

Look for FSC on the product page or in the collection of FSC labelled products. See Oeko-Tex certified products and bamboo bedding.

Frequently asked questions

Does FSC mean the fabric is better

Not for the skin. It is about the origin of the raw material.

Are all bamboo products FSC labelled

No. Check the individual item.

Can a product carry both labels

Yes, they cover two different things and do not exclude each other.
