How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Jacqueline is the nightdress with a v neck and narrow lace trims at both the neckline and sleeves. The lace is what makes the difference between a nightdress and a long t-shirt. Here in the short sleeved version and in a dusty blue colour.

95 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 95 % bamboo viscose and 5 % elastane. That is among the highest bamboo contents in our range, and it is why the nightdress feels smooth and cool against the skin rather than just soft. A high bamboo content needs a gentle wash

The more bamboo viscose, the less the fabric tolerates heat and hard wear. Wash at 30 to 40 degrees on a delicate programme together with the rest of the coloured wash, never with fabric softener, and let the nightdress air dry. The lace lasts longest that way.
