How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

These light grey bamboo maxi briefs have a high waist and good coverage of the buttocks. Besides being super soft, bamboo is also absorbent and breathable.

Light grey is the colour you choose when black gets too harsh and white too stark. Under grey and blue trousers it doesn't show, and it looks less worn than white does after six months. Maxi means high waist and good coverage at the back.

Why the maxi shape

With a high waist the waistband sits above the hip bone instead of on it, and then there is no elastic cutting in or rolling down during the day. That is the practical reason the shape is chosen by those who cannot be bothered to adjust their underwear.

65 per cent bamboo viscose
