WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Bamboo dries faster than cotton

The basic T-shirt is available here as a navy bamboo T-shirt. This bamboo T-shirt is breathable, temperature regulating, absorbent and quick drying. It is lovely and soft and feels light and pleasant to wear.

A cotton T-shirt holds moisture in the fibres once it has become wet. Bamboo viscose absorbs the moisture and releases it into the air, which is why it dries faster and does not feel clammy on a warm day. That is the single trait people notice first.

The cut

Round neck, short sleeves, close fitting without being tight. Thin enough to sit under a cardigan or an open shirt.

Navy blue

Navy is the easiest dark colour to pair with denim, because the two belong to the same colour family and blend together, whereas black creates a hard edge.

The material
