WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Bea short-sleeved bamboo T-shirt from CCDK in navy with fine small dots. Made from a soft blend of bamboo and organic cotton with temperature regulating properties.

The dots are small and dense, so from a distance the top looks like plain navy. That's a different effect from stripes, and it's the one you choose when the pattern should be there without announcing itself. Bea is the simple style: short sleeves, crew neck, no details.

68 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 68 % bamboo viscose, 27 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose provides the softness and the temperature regulating properties, meaning it moves heat and moisture away from the skin instead of holding on to it. Wash navy separately

Navy gives off a little colour in the first few washes, so keep the top away from anything white to begin with. Wash at 40 degrees together with your dark laundry and leave out the fabric softener. See our washing and care guide. OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. BEGO 065229.
