WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Dark red colours shed colour the first few times. Wash the set on its own or with other red items to begin with, so you do not transfer colour onto light nightwear. After that, it can go with the rest of the laundry.

The set

Long trousers and a long sleeved top. It is the winter edition of a pyjama set, and because both pieces are in the same fabric, they shrink and fade evenly.

95% bamboo

The set is 95% bamboo viscose and 5% elastane. It contains no cotton, which is why the fabric is cooler against the skin than ordinary nightwear, even though the cut covers more. More in facts about bamboo.

In return, it is delicate

Without cotton, there is nothing in the fabric that gives strength under heat. Wash at 40 degrees or below, keep the set out of the tumble dryer and do not use fabric softener. See the washing and care guide.

Det er jo altid skønt med bambus stof! Elsker det! Det eneste der trækker lidt ned er at selvom jeg holder mig til vaskeanvisningerne ændre blødheden sig hurtigt og den fornemmelse stoffet har, forsvinder efter et par vaske.
