How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Brown is one of those shades that are hard to find in basic T-shirts, which is a shame, because it works with beige, cream and denim in a way black does not. This one is short-sleeved in a women's fit from Copenhagen Bamboo, in sizes from S to XXL.

70 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 70% bamboo viscose, 25% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo viscose is the reason the T-shirt drapes softly rather than standing stiffly out, and the reason it is comfortable in both summer and winter: the material is temperature regulating, meaning it moves heat and moisture away instead of holding on to it. Wash brown colours together

Brown fades in sunlight and in high heat. Wash at 40 degrees together with the rest of your coloureds, turn the T-shirt inside out and hang it to dry in the shade. Leave out the fabric softener. See our washing and care guide.
