WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Really nice grey T-shirt in bamboo with round neck from JBS of Denmark. This basic T-shirt is breathable, feels light and stays soft wash after wash.

A T-shirt in bamboo viscose feels soft from the first time, and it does not become stiff from washing, as cotton can in hard water. That is one reason why bamboo is used for basic clothing that is worn many times a month.

The cut

Round neck with ribbed trim, short sleeves, straight men's cut. Thin enough to sit under a shirt without adding bulk at the shoulders.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo content gives the cool surface and moves moisture away from the skin, the cotton holds the shape, the elastane keeps the neckline in shape. More in facts about bamboo.
