WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Red must be washed separately the first few times

The basic T-shirt is available here as a red bamboo T-shirt from JBS of Denmark. This bamboo T-shirt is breathable, temperature-regulating and absorbent. It is lovely and soft and feels light and pleasant to wear.

Red dyes release colour in the first few washes. Wash the T-shirt alone or together with other red items at first, otherwise you risk a white T-shirt turning pink. After three or four washes it can go with the rest.

The cut

Round neck, short sleeves, close-fitting without being tight. Red is the colour that does the most for an otherwise neutral outfit, and it works best with denim, white and black.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo content gives the cool surface and moves moisture away from the skin, the cotton holds the shape, the elastane keeps the neckline in shape. More in facts about bamboo.
