How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Wide straps cover the bra straps

This black tank top with wide straps is made from the most luxurious bamboo material. Bamboo makes this top temperature regulating, absorbent and extremely soft to wear.

That's the practical difference from a top with thin straps: the wide ones sit over the bra straps instead of beside them, so there aren't four straps on the shoulder. That's the reason this particular style can also be worn as an outer layer.

Polyamide rather than cotton

80% bamboo viscose, 13% polyamide and 7% elastane. The polyamide is there instead of cotton because it makes the knit smoother and more hardwearing, and that's why the top can have such a high bamboo content and still hold its shape. More in facts about bamboo.

Black

Black is the right colour under dark and saturated colours. Under white and light fabrics, black shows as a shadow, and a nude tone is better there.

Washing

40 degrees or below without fabric softener, and lay the top flat to dry, so the straps don't get stretched out by a hanger. Black turns greyish from heat. See the washing and care guide.
