JBS bamboo underwear for men

JBS was founded in 1939 in Denmark and is today one of the country's largest clothing brands and one of its leading manufacturers of men's underwear. The bamboo line is the company's take on underwear that is worn every day and bought again when it is worn out. We carry 28 items from JBS in sizes S to XXXL and socks in 37/40, 41/44 and 45/48, with prices from €26.95. The range covers underpants, undershirts, T-shirts and socks in bamboo viscose.

JBS bamboo underpants

The underpants are the core of the range, and they are what most people search for. The models come both with and without a fly, as tights with long legs and in the classic boxer shorts shape, and they are usually sold in packs of several pairs. The bamboo viscose makes the difference where it counts: it moves moisture away, it does not cling, and it keeps feeling soft after many washes. See the full selection under bamboo underpants for men, where JBS sits alongside the other brands.

Undershirts and T-shirts

JBS undershirts come as a sleeveless vest, as a classic crew neck T-shirt and as a V-neck model for wearing under a shirt. The undershirt has two jobs: it keeps the shirt free of sweat, and it puts a soft layer against the skin. Choose white or skin tone under light shirts and black under dark ones. The rest of the range sits under bamboo undershirts for men and bamboo T-shirts for men.

JBS socks

The socks come in the ranges 37/40, 41/44 and 45/48 and are sold in multipacks. They follow the same material thinking as the rest of the line: a soft knit, good moisture transport and less odour after a day in closed shoes. They sit with the other brands under bamboo socks for men.

JBS and JBS of Denmark are two lines

Many people are confused by the fact that there are two JBS categories. JBS is the classic menswear line with underwear and basics. JBS of Denmark is the more fashion-led line with nightwear, dressing gowns, big shirts and styles for women. If you are looking for pyjamas or a nightdress, look in JBS of Denmark, while the everyday underpants and undershirts sit here.

Sizes and fit

The garments come in S to XXXL, and JBS is known for keeping a consistent fit across seasons, so a size L stays a size L when you reorder. The underpants sit close without pulling at the leg, and the undershirts are cut to lie flat under a shirt. Every product page has the brand's own size guide with measurements in centimetres.

Washing

Wash at 40 degrees inside out, use a mild detergent and skip fabric softener. Avoid the tumble dryer, the most common reason bamboo viscose shrinks. Line drying takes a few hours. With that treatment both colour and waistband hold, and the underwear keeps its fit through its whole life.

FSC and what the label covers

JBS launched the bamboo line as the world's first FSC certified collection of bamboo underwear. FSC is a forestry label, and it states that the wood material the viscose is made from can be traced back to a controlled forest. It is information about the raw material, not a claim about the finished fabric, and the difference is worth knowing when you compare brands on the shelf.

How to use this page

The range is gathered here because many people search for the brand rather than the item. If you know exactly what you need, it is often quicker to go into the product category and filter from there, because JBS sits alongside the other brands and you can see price and pack size side by side. If you are reordering something you already know, this is the page to use. The fit is consistent across seasons, and that is one of the reasons the brand gets bought again. If you want to compare two Nordic brands, the overview is in the guide to JBS and Resteröds.
