WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

Black tennis socks with 90 per cent bamboo

Black tennis socks from JBS of Denmark, fantastically soft because they are made from bamboo. Slightly thicker under the foot and with flat seams over the toes for as little irritation as possible.

The bamboo content here is 90%, which is the highest we have in a sock. The rest is 8% polyamide and 2% elastane. That means the sock feels noticeably softer and smoother than an ordinary bamboo sock at 75%, and that it costs more. That is the honest link between content and price.

Thicker under the foot

The sock is a little thicker on the underside of the foot than in the shaft, which gives padding where the weight rests. That is why the model is ideal for people who are on their feet all day. The seam over the toes is flat, so it does not rub.

Wash gently
