WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

DESCRIPTION

The set with a sweatshirt rather than a hoodie

Black badge tracksuit set in bamboo from JBS of Denmark with a classic sweatshirt and sweatpants. Soft bamboo material and a discreet badge on the side.

The top here is a classic sweatshirt with a round neck. Without a hood, nothing bulks up the neck under a jacket, and this is the version of the set that can be worn outside the home. The badge sits discreetly on the side rather than as a print across the chest.

The high bamboo content

The set is 70% bamboo viscose, 25% cotton and 5% elastane. There is no polyester in it, and that is the important difference from ordinary sweatshirt clothing: softer and cooler against the skin, but more sensitive to heat in the machine.

That is why it should be washed cool

Without polyester, there is nothing to hold the shape at high heat. Wash at 40 degrees or below, keep the set out of the tumble dryer and do not use fabric softener. See the washing and care guide.
