WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Black bamboo slip shorts from JBS of Denmark. Soft and stretchy slip shorts designed to be worn under dresses and skirts. Bamboo viscose is soft against the skin and breathable. Comfort in everyday life.

Slip shorts are typically worn in summer, where skin rubs against skin under a dress. But a black pair can just as well be worn in winter under a skirt with tights, where they add an extra layer and at the same time stop the tights from slipping.

The cut

Close-fitting with good stretch, length down to the thigh. They need to fit closely to do their job, so choose your normal size rather than a size up.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. Bamboo viscose is smooth against the skin, and it is that smoothness that makes the dress on top glide freely instead of clinging. More in facts about bamboo.

Washing

40 degrees without fabric softener and not in the tumble dryer, where the elastane gives up first. Black also turns greyish from heat. See the washing and care guide.
