Burgundy needs to be washed separately the first few times

Dark red colours shed colour in the first few washes. Wash the dress on its own or together with other red items to begin with, otherwise you risk transferring colour onto light nightwear. After three or four washes it can go with the rest.

95% bamboo

The dress is 95% bamboo viscose and 5% elastane. That is the highest bamboo content in Bamboo Basics' nightwear, and it shows: the fabric is cool to the touch and moves moisture faster than blends with cotton. More in facts about bamboo.

The cut

Short sleeves and a straight, timeless cut without decoration. There are no buttons or lace to lie on, which is the whole point of a nightgown.

In return, it is delicate

Without cotton, there is nothing in the fabric that gives strength under heat. Wash at 40 degrees or below, keep it out of the tumble dryer and do not use fabric softener. See the washing and care guide.
