WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Bamboo pyjama bottoms for men from JBS in a super soft bamboo and cotton blend, good as night trousers or for a relaxed Sunday. Please note: the style shrinks around 10% in length in the first wash.

This model shrinks about 10% in length at the first wash. That's not a fault but a property of the fabric, and it means you should choose them long enough to allow for it. If you're unsure between two sizes, go for the larger one.

The cut

Long pyjama trousers with stripes. They can be used as night trousers and as a pair of soft trousers for a Sunday at home, thin enough that you don't get too warm indoors.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo content moves moisture away from the skin at night, the cotton keeps the stripes crisp, the elastane means they move with you when you pull your legs up. More in facts about bamboo.

Washing

The first wash is the one where the length settles. 40 degrees, no fabric softener, and keep them out of the tumble dryer, which would shrink them further. See the washing and care guide.
