WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Striped long nightshirt for children

Light blue long nightshirt for children in a soft bamboo and cotton blend, with buttons, a curved hem and a smart pleat at the back. Please note: this model shrinks by roughly 10% at the first wash.

The nightshirt is good both to sleep in and for cosy time at home.

A long nightshirt with stripes, in children's sizes from 5/6 to 11/12 years. It is one of the few children's items we carry, and bamboo makes good sense for children because it breathes and does not scratch against sensitive skin.

Material

70 % bamboo viscose and 30 % organic cotton. A high bamboo content means the child does not get clammy at night. More in our facts about bamboo.

Washing

40 degrees without fabric softener. Children's clothes are washed often, and bamboo copes with that well as long as the temperature is kept down. See the washing and care guide.
