WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

White tank top in bamboo from JBS of Denmark. It is lovely and soft and nice to wear, breathable and temperature regulating both in cold and heat.

A white tank top without sleeves is the classic layer under a shirt in summer, when an undershirt with sleeves becomes too warm. It catches the sweat before it reaches the shirt fabric, and it places a layer between the skin and a light shirt, which could otherwise become transparent.

The cut

Round neck without sleeves, close fitting. The neckline is low enough not to be visible in a shirt with the top buttons open.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. Bamboo viscose absorbs moisture and releases it into the air, and that is precisely the property that means the shirt on the outside does not get marks. More in facts about bamboo.

White stays white by being washed separately

White basics turn grey because they are washed with the rest. Wash it separately at 40 degrees, and do not use chlorine bleach on bamboo viscose. See the washing and care guide.
