How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Green bamboo tracksuit from Copenhagen Bamboo with sweatpants and hoodie in bamboo viscose, organic cotton and polyester. Runs large in size for women.

The set consists of a hoodie and a pair of sweatpants in the same green colour and the same quality, so they match exactly. Top and bottom can be chosen in their own sizes, which is handy if you're not the same size top and bottom.

Pay attention to the sizing

The set runs large for women. If in doubt, go one size down rather than up. The model is unisex, so the fit is cut wider than a women's set would be.

55 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 55 % bamboo viscose, 25 % polyester, 15 % organic cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo content is lower than in our underwear, and that is deliberate: sweat clothing has to withstand frequent wear and washing, and the polyester is what holds the shape.
