WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Light khaki is the light colour that is not white

A classic light khaki crew neck bamboo t-shirt in high quality and a good fit, from Resteröds. Being made of bamboo, it is wonderfully soft, as well as breathable and temperature regulating.

Khaki sits between beige and green, and the light variant can be used as a light base colour without being white. In practice, this means it does not show yellowish marks under the arms the way white does over time, and it works with denim, black and olive.

The cut

Crew neck, meaning a round neckline with a ribbed edge, short sleeves and a straight men's cut.

The material

65% bamboo viscose, 30% organic cotton and 5% elastane. The bamboo content gives the cool surface and moves moisture away from the skin, the cotton holds the shape, the elastane keeps the neckline in shape. More in facts about bamboo and benefits of bamboo.

Washing

40 degrees without fabric softener. Light earth tones turn grey when washed with dark clothes, so wash the t-shirt with light items. See the washing and care guide.
