How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Black g-strings in soft bamboo from Urban Quest with bonded seams and no bothersome stitching. Discreet fit, breathable quality for everyday wear.

A g-string is chosen because nothing should show through at the back. When the seams on top of that are bonded rather than sewn, there is no edge at the sides either. What remains is nothing to see through a close-fitting dress, and that is the whole idea behind this particular style.

When it is not the right choice

For a long day on a bike or in the heat, briefs with more fabric are more comfortable. A g-string is for the outfits where anything else would show through.

The material

Washing
