Bamboo Bedding 140x220 – For the Long Duvet

Short answer: 140x220 is the size for the long duvet. It has become common as beds and people have grown longer, and those twenty extra centimetres are the difference between covering shoulders and feet at the same time and having to choose between them.

Who needs the size

If you are over 180 centimetres tall, or the bed is 210 centimetres long, the long duvet is the right one. The same applies if you sleep on your side with your legs drawn up, because the duvet then rides higher than you expect.

How to check what you have

Lay the duvet out flat and measure lengthways from seam to seam. If the number is 220, the cover has to match. A cover in 200 cannot be stretched to fit, and one in 220 on a short duvet lies empty at the end.
