The price per piece

Identical pairs keep the drawer simple

How many you need

When a pack does not pay off

If you are unsure about size or leg length, a pack is a poor idea, as you may end up with several pairs that do not fit well. The same applies if your weight is changing or if you want to try different styles before settling on one.

How they should fit

The waistband should hold without leaving marks, and the legs must not ride up when you walk. If a pair is too tight from the start, it will not improve, as bamboo viscose only gives a little. If you are between two sizes, choose by where the waistband feels most comfortable.

Washing

Wash all pairs together from the start so they fade evenly. 40 degrees without fabric softener, and avoid the tumble dryer, which wears the waistband elastic. Hang them to dry and they keep their shape longest. See the washing guide.

When the old pairs start to wear, it is easier to replace them all at once than to add one pair at a time. That avoids a drawer of pairs in different states, and you know exactly how old they are when the next change comes round.
