Which detergent suits bamboo viscose

Short answer: An ordinary liquid detergent for coloureds is the right one. Avoid detergents with bleach and avoid fabric softener, which closes the fibres.

Liquid rather than powder

Powder often contains bleach and dissolves less well at 40 degrees. Liquid detergent rinses out more easily.

Coloureds rather than whites

Detergent for whites usually contains bleach, which breaks down bamboo viscose over time.

Wool detergent is not needed

Bamboo viscose is not wool and does not need a special delicate detergent. A mild detergent for coloureds is enough.

Avoid fabric softener
