How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Poplin is a woven fabric, not knit, and that is what sets these apart from ordinary underpants. They fit looser, breathe more, and resemble classic boxer shorts with a fly more closely. Two light blue pairs from JBS of Denmark.

Material

45% bamboo viscose and 55% organic cotton. A higher proportion of cotton than in our knitted models, precisely because woven fabric needs more body. The bamboo makes it softer than pure cotton poplin. More in our facts about bamboo.
