WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Navy bamboo and linen men's shorts set from JBS of Denmark with shirt and shorts. Lightweight bamboo blend that breathes and is perfect for warm days.

A complete set with a short-sleeved shirt and matching shorts in navy. Bamboo blended with linen gives the slightly rustic, airy surface you know from linen clothing, but without it scratching. This is summer and holiday wear, from JBS of Denmark, in sizes S to XXL.

Why bamboo and linen

80 % bamboo viscose and 20 % linen. Linen is one of the most breathable materials there is, but it creases and can feel stiff. The bamboo softens it and gives a better drape. More in our facts about bamboo.

Certification and washing

OEKO-TEX Standard 100, cert. no. 976-15301, FSC MIX certified. Wash at 40 degrees, hang it up straight away so the creases drop out. See the washing and care guide.
