WASHING GUIDE

How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Navy shirt from JBS of Denmark in a luxurious blend of bamboo viscose and linen, for both formal occasions and ordinary days. The shirt shrinks 5% in the first wash.

Linen shirts are the classic of summer, but pure linen can feel stiff and creases heavily. Blending it with bamboo makes the fabric softer and gives it a better drape, without losing the breathability of linen. Navy, from JBS of Denmark, in six sizes from S to XXXL.

Material

80 % bamboo viscose and 20 % linen. Linen is among the most breathable materials there is, and the combination makes the shirt suited to hot days and holidays. More in our facts about bamboo.

About creases

Linen creases, that is the nature of the material. Hang the shirt up straight away after washing and most of the folds drop out on their own. Wash at 40 degrees. See the washing and care guide.
