How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

These tennis socks from Lindbergh only come in 40 to 47. That is a wide span, but if your shoe size falls outside it, you need to choose another model. Grey is the colour that works for both sports shoes and everyday shoes, where white clearly signals training.

80 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 80 % bamboo viscose, 17 % nylon and 3 % elastane. That is a high bamboo content for a sock, and the difference shows: they feel smooth rather than just soft, and they are moisture wicking and temperature regulating. For both sport and everyday

The tennis sock has a longer leg than an ordinary sock, which is practical in a sports shoe where the edge otherwise rubs against the ankle. It also works for everyday wear under a pair of shorts.
