How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

The style has no fabric at the back, and the seams are bonded rather than sewn. On top of that, the colour is a nude shade close to the skin. Together these are three choices that all point the same way, and the result is the style in the shop that is hardest to see through clothing.

Under white and light colours

This is where nude makes a difference. Black shows as a shadow under white trousers, white shows through because white reflects more light than skin. A nude shade does neither.

Washing

40 degrees without fabric softener, not in the tumble dryer. Light shades turn grey if washed with dark laundry, so wash it with light-coloured items. See the washing and care guide.
