How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

Black maxi briefs with an extra high waist

An extra high waist means that the waistband sits above the navel rather than below it. It is the style you choose when the brief has to stay in place under a high skirt or a pair of high waisted trousers, and when you do not want an edge that rolls down during the day. From Bamboo Basics in sizes from S to XXL.

No side seams

The extra high waist means the edge sits above the navel and does not roll down when sitting. At the same time, there are no side seams, so fewer edges that can show through clothing.

80 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 80 % bamboo viscose, 13 % polyamide and 7 % elastane. The high bamboo content is what you notice first: the brief feels smooth and cool rather than just soft, and it wicks moisture away. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Wash gently

A high bamboo content does not tolerate heat, and certainly not fabric softener. Wash at 40 degrees with your dark items and let them air dry. See our washing and care guide. OEKO-TEX Standard 100, certificate no. SHKO 039388.
