How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

65 per cent bamboo viscose

The fabric is 65 % bamboo viscose, 30 % cotton and 5 % elastane. The bamboo viscose is the soft and breathable part, the cotton provides the durability so the briefs stand up to frequent washing. It is a well proven blend for underwear. We go through the material in our facts about bamboo.

Wash the colours separately

The white pair should not go in with the black, at least not the first few times. Wash them with the white and the dark laundry respectively at 40 degrees and leave out the fabric softener. See our washing and care guide.
