How to best care for your bamboo clothing

To extend the lifespan of your bamboo clothing, we recommend:

Wash at 30–40 degrees.
Wash inside out – especially if there is a print.
Air dry in the shade instead of using a tumble dryer.
Use detergent without harsh enzymes – e.g. wool/silk soap and preferably fragrance-free.
Underwear can be washed at 60 degrees, but this may shorten its lifespan.

These black bamboo maxi briefs have a high waist and good coverage of the buttocks. The waistband is woven as part of the briefs, there are no side seams and a thin elastic is sewn on at the leg opening. The briefs are super soft and the bamboo is moisture wicking and breathable.

Maxi means high waist and full coverage at the back. Fewer seams mean fewer edges that can show through clothing. Three black pairs from Bamboo Basics, sizes from S to XXL.

Why it lasts all day

A woven waistband does not roll up into a cord the way a narrow elastic can. That is the practical reason the maxi shape is chosen by those who cannot be bothered to adjust their underwear during the day.

80 per cent bamboo viscose

Wash gently
